The LMG rifle of the Frontiersmen is the basic Rifle of use for the marines. Equipped when first entering a Combat Zone from an Infantry Portal, the LMG is a good light weight gun with a decent fifty round side clip. Its range is sufficient and damage is minor to moderate. The new version of the Light Machine Gun will have an Attachment anchor on the bottom section for additional upgrades, for example; a Grenade Launcher.
