After reading that, I just wanted to say, I hope everyone at Unknown Worlds is surviving and thriving.

Its an issue kinda close to my heart these days, I went to a food bank recently for a little help in providing for my family. Just wishing everyone the best these days, take care my fellow gamers.

I read the article on Gamasutra a week ago and I think that it is a good idea it is brought up from time to time. However, being a fellow programmer I understand why there is long hours some weeks. Normally this only happens towards crunch time. I have gone through doing forty hours of programming to doing sixty hours of programming when things really need to get done. As the same time though when you decided to be a video game programmer it is almost a given that sometimes there will be crunch time. Most programmers I know really do not have any problem putting in long hours from time to time because it is what we like to do. On the issue of "Quality of Life" from EA, I really think it has been better from talking to people that work at the EA near me. Not to mention you probably have heard that women and the media like to make a deal out of everything.
