I'm assuming you all are talking about the so called "heavy armor", but I'm missing what the idea or suggestion is here.

Not sure what the idea is either, but it looks to be a thread about current tech or prototypes that one might expect to see in a futuristic setting. Think of it as inspiration.

btw, cawolf, didnt really like that bulky iron man, looked way too weird for me aye. looks very clumsy at the best of times. and, well, pretty damn ugly, but that's my opinion.

(okay, so it's not current tech or prototypes, my bad. - although there was that mjollnir battle armour replica to be made by Troy Hurtubise, but i dunno what's happened with that one.)

Which comes across just a bit silly, but I suppose that is what happens when you are garage developer of armor

lol pretty much, yeah he's a little eccentric, and his suit is pretty ugly.. guess he just lacks aesthetic and marketing/business sense

always thought a shield is a cool idea for HA

*picture 3 HA huddled together with their shields out trying to block an onos from charging*

yeah, redEyes has me converted on the Shield idea, too. It'd be fine because HAs/exoskeletons should be able to wield weapons single-handedly.

It would be cool to be able to feel the power of the heavy, like busting down doors or doing more damage with melee rather than just a defensive bonus.
