Lots of companies nowadays have a presence at prominent LAN parties. Whether there are prizes of certain games/gear from companies or they just sponsor the LAN, they are getting their message out straight to their number one customer. If the NS team wants to promote their game while having some fun along the way, attending some big LAN parties might be a good idea. Quakecon is a few months away and is the largest LAN in north america, so maybe if Flayra and the gang had a presence their, they could receive some well needed attention on NS2. Or maybe if they don't the time to visit all these LANs, a 'press kit' could be developed, maybe containing some posters, cards, stickers, etc, that fans could hand out at big LANs. Either way I think something needs to be done to promote NS2 at some of the big LAN parties, as they are the haven for avid PC folk.

I like.
Heck, I run a local LAN party every week and would love a couple of random swag from NS2.

hnsusdhnJ Yes and no.
Im tossing this up. Natural Selection is a hard game to pitch at people. It takes a while to understand it, and most people at first glance are confused and not really interested by it. Or maybe im wrong. I can just imagine people going "what?" and not caring.
