I was thinking today Whats a good way to promote NS2 while in turn helping with funding?

So remember those rubber wristbands (livestrong bands) that were "the thing" not to long ago? What if I were to order a set of like 25 (more if it were to get popular) And sell them off for like 2 dollars each. All proceeds would in turn go right back as a donation for development on NS2.


Would people be interested?

I was thinking of Having it say Natural Selection 2 on it and the TSA logo next to it in a navy blue (or darker blue)

If it sells well I could set up 2 sets. Rines and Alien. The alien would be a deeper orange (not a bright one) and having the hive symbol next to Natural Selection 2 on that.

I'm merely just gauging interest and seeing what everyone thinks of the idea.

I'd probably buy one, my wrist is lacking in the terms of wristbands and the likes. Hairbands tend to cut my blood supply off if I wear too many aswell.

Hmmm, I don't know. I'm not really convinced. Gaming and fashion normally don't go hand in hand.

And people not familiar to NS wont recognize or understand the TSA/Hive symbols.

plastic wrist bands are ######/annoying. maybe if it was a really well designed t-shirt, just the tsa logo large and to the side with a darker tone or something

At one point, there was an NS store where they had some shirts with the TSA logo on it though I'm unsure what happened to the link.

Those things are always too big for my wrist. In any case I think most people find them pretty annoying.

That one looks kinda cool. And ya, wrist bands kinda suck .

I hated the live strong ones, and I have to say I will probably reluctantly hate the NS ones to. The concept is plain stupid imo. It's not like anyone will notice them as there are a bunch of other wristbands out there.

I'd buy 2 oh yeah 1 for each wrist ^_^ .... but yeah non-NS savy gamers and people in general won't really know those symbols

yeah, many people find the wristbands really annoying.

I just wear a peice of string i found in my girlfriends bedroom wrapped around my wrist. It serves me well.
