nineLegends Natural Selection pack
Despite its past name, the nL hackpack, it contains nothing resembling a "hack". Version 1.4 is the most recent iteration of the pack.
The nL.ns pack was put together by Øivind K. "Fana" Foss, a prominent competitive player. It contains work by many different authors, however. The nL.ns pack is the spiritual successor to the knifegaming pack.
The pack includes many modifications to NS, such as: Transparent sprites, silenced sounds, a wide assortment of crosshairs, configs from several competitive players, and many other game enhancements.
Some high level players use a configuration similar to that provided by this pack to attain a possible advantage by removing aesthetically significant assets in favour of performance. Most use the pack just to get rid of some of the more annoying aesthetic features of NS.
Note: All files will work even when mp_consistency is activated (mp_consistency 1).
