Alien Upgrades

Alien upgrades are divided into two separate categories - chamber upgrades and hive upgrades.
Each active hive unlocks an ability for the aliens - the first hive that aliens start with unlocks the second slot abilities, the second hive unlocks the third slot ability, and so forth.
Each active hive can also support one type of upgrade chamber. The three types of upgrade chambers are movement, sensory, and defense chambers. Each additional upgrade chamber up to the limit of three increases the effectiveness of upgrades.
Movement Upgrades
- Celerity: Gives a boost in movement speed.
- Silence: Makes the players every action quieter.
- Adrenaline: Increases the rate of energy returned.
Sensory Upgrades
- Focus: Increases the damage done from the first slot weapon at the cost of the rate of fire.
- Scent of Fear: Enables the player to see marines through walls .
- Cloaking: Allows the player to be completely invisible and incredibly skillful.
Defense Upgrades
- Carapace: Increases the amount of armour the player has.
- Regeneration: Slowly lets the player regenerate health over time.
- Redemption: Allows the hive to save a player when nearly dead.
