Combat Experience Details


One gets experience by killing an enemy, being near teammates when they do, or damaging the enemy's cc or hive. Enough experience will bring the player to the next level and earn that player a point to spend on upgrades (see Combat Tech Tree, alien, marine).

Experience earned per enemy killed is scaled to the level of the enemy. Each teammate that is nearby adds 10 to experience that the enemy is worth. The total experience is then split among teammates evenly. (i.e. 2 players kill a level 6 enemy, would work out to (2*10 + 110) /2=65 experience to each player).
