The Constellation test is slowly drawing to its close. We've released a new update for this private test, which features a number of gameplay changes to make relatively unused devices such as the alien vision mode ("flashlight") more useful. Additionally, we included a pretty big number of fixes and map updates.

If you are a Constellation member, check your Notes or the Constellation Forum to download and play the new version.

Enjoy yourself!

Development on Natural Selection 3.0 continues, and just resulted in the release of what will likely be one of the last builds before the next version is ready for the general public. The new build includes a number of balance tweaks, various art and map updates and a number of significant bug fixes.

If you are a Constellation member, you can as usual access all necessary information on this new version via the Constellation forum, the password to which can be found along most other important information in the 'Notes' section of your account.

Have fun!

As NS teams throughout the states are going into week 4 of this CAL season, there have been some very outstanding matches. This has been a remarkable season for spectators and loyal fans of these teams, but most frustrating times for the teams themselves as almost half of the matches played have been reported ties.

Frustrating or not, this just goes to show the matched talent that comes with these teams and will only make for even better finals this upcoming season.

Here are the current standings for the top 3 teams in each division:

Omega division

Team unaware with an outstanding 3 wins, 0 losses Flawed eXistence with 2 wins and 1 tie Fusion with 2 wins and 1 tie Slimes with 2 wins and 1 tie ...with other teams not trailing too far behind for the 2nd rank!

Delta division

Exigent with 2 wins and 1 tie Terror with 2 wins and 1 tie Crayon with 2 wins and 1 tie

Good luck to these three teams within the Delta division fighting a fierce battle for 1st place going into week 4.

As always, good luck to all the teams within the NS CAL League Community!

We're going to bring the server down for a routine upgrade in about an hour. For those of you who have followed the story, this is to re-insert the one gig of RAM that has previously been removed for troubleshooting reasons. The downtime should not exceed two to three hours.

Thanks for your continued patience, see you soon.
