i had this creature in the works the last yr or so, i had alot of trouble getting it to have a body which would work for its head. after a while i thought it would make a kick ###### new alien for ns2 , like an elite type alien which does alot of damage but lacks alot in armour.

i will get to more art soon enough... still have two gorges asking for some more love..

It looks like a cross between a gorge, a bullsquid, and a stegosaurus.
I like it.

And now, the questions:
It looks like it has two 'heads', but is one the 'up' head and the other the 'right' head, or is it supposed to be balanced, like a 'v'?
Do both heads see?

It might even have 4 heads, we just can't tell from this angle. Quite impressive work. The saliva and teeth look esecially well done!

its mouth when open is like a + sign, the tentacles grasp its prey and pull it in its mouth, the jaws each have sensors (the holes) on the sides of each jaw as it is blind but uses a beaconing method like the bat to hone its prey, its very sensitive to movement and is very accurate in finding its prey even through walls or hard to see areas. night or day doesnt bother it because its blind.

as i said, i put alot of designing into this thing..

Damn that one reminds me of a graboid head. Well it has 3 jaws, but still looks similar. Especially the tongue in the first picture. It looks fantastic btw...

It's a great concept, although i think a blind alien might be a bit difficult to play as in NS!!

Well, on engines like source the devs can create all kinds of screen overlay effects to mimic different types of vision effect, im sure something could be made to act like a bat sensor, which could be pretty damn cool

Even aliens vs predator could do that (pred/alien vision) and from what I've seen with this new dynamic infestation. I'd say it's probably just withing their skills j/k Anyway this alien could be a cool design for a sonar/heatvision alien, with an ability to use it's tongue in the way the graboid does --> latch onto it's prey and pull it towards/into it's mouth
