When the Marines is captured in their own base, build offence and defence structures at the main exit, then block the vents with skulks and lerks. Then bring the bigger aliens trought the main entrance to their base to finish it off. Then the skulks and lerks finish off the ones trying to escape.

Get hive three and go for xeno fest. fades and onos just finish off the weakened enemies.
or if they r really fortified, acid rocket and spore from a distance before going in.

im not being sarcastic. you're missing the point. this is a fnish-off-marine strat. not a kill hive strat.
but if the marines r holed up in their base, the tactics u use to kill them r pretty standard. not much to say. only thing u have to worry about is a ninja Pg somewhere and the aliens only have one hive.

How to finish rines?
Well, spam is the usual answer.
If you are not able to beat them with 2 hives, get a third one and just xeno/AR spam the hell out of them.
btw: A two-liner cant be hardly called a strategy.

Once trapped in Ms they really don't have a chance and when the third hive goes up it won't take long at all to break them down unless the aliens are being really retarded. Though there was this one time the aliens had trapped the rines on tanith and everyone was so busy re-fading, re-onosing and relerking, no one bothered getting the third hive for 10 mins lol. Sure enough when we got it they died pretty much instantly
