well, just wondering what would you guys think of it as an upgrade to hold double the ammo (100) with a drum mag like the zaku1 side drum?

The LMG is the base marine weapon. The HMG already provides a larger magazine.

no. having guns overheat would not be fun. leave it at 50. i think the nsdevs already said gun jams and overheats would not be in any future versions as its not fun. This isn't tom clancy's natural selection.
no thanks, i see enough marines taking 2-3 skulks with 1 clip as it is. If your having trouble with your clip size don't hold it down, fire in short bursts and only when you have a clear shot.
I'm going to say no. It would encourage wasting shots. The issue is getting the bullets into the aliens, and the current magazines are big enough for this goal, provided you can hit the aliens.
