Well, just like the topic says- I'm lookin for some EASY concept designs that a beginner in Maya or 3DSMax (both of which I have now, YAY!) could learn from. I just can't spend the money for the tuitorials though *crys* not at the... *cough* insane prices they have.

Can't get any easier than a mac-10 to be honest... a bunch of boxes and a cylinder or two.

Simple things- a flight of stairs for example. Things that would be simple 2 d then progressing to 3d models smile-fix.gif

try a staircase wink-fix.gif .... or a box.... then work off the box poly by poly... extrusion by extrusion.. make something SPECTACULAR wow.gif

for easy just model a car or something... you dont need a specific concept that cant be found via google... GO FETCH

Considering both 3DS Max and Maya each cost several thousand per license, i'm sure you can afford one or two of those "insane" priced tutorials.

well there's Maya PLE... which refuses to accept my email and let me download it. can anyone help me with that?

Students can buy them for a hundred or so dollars, or even cheaper if bought used.
