slot2 vs LoC, ns_orbital_cal

It was the 4th half, and we'd been having problems getting all 12 in at the same time, so we were tired. We (slot2) were marines, and decided to end it quickly. We would probably loose, so we went for an all out shotty rush. No ip. Just an armoury in their hive and shotguns, a few mine packs. We got the hive down, but lost three people. They also lost three.

While this was happening, they had base rushed. Chair down, no means of spawning. It was a 3v3 deatchmatch.

Our survivours were myself, Hellabean (ringing for us) and ambush, a tryout. We had to take out their nodes before they got enough for a hive. The first hive was gen, so we scoured the map going south. When we hit PEN-15 we found a node and a gorge. The node went down, but the gorge got away. we moved into Hangar and took down their only other node with no opposition. We found out later that they were planning an ambush just outside the hive, towards obs. We walked right into it, but killed two of them while we only lost Hellabean. I was full health and armour, ambush had been bitten once.

We moved from there, checking all the nodes again. None were up. We found ourselves in MS, so we decided to camp. I trickjumped off ambush's head and onto the ledge over the cargo exit. He stayed near the node.

After maybe 30 seconds, while I was looking down at the entrance I was over, I heard ambush get bitten. He must have had silence. I turned, ambush got off a shot, then died, i shot two rounds and killed him. Game over...

The few minutes of the three, then two, of us moving around map together, frightened and pumped, were literally the best gaming moments I've ever had. My only regret is that no one caught a demo, it would have made perfect B horror movie.

for some reason my aimbots and autowalls couldnt track the skulk that killed me...thats my story and im sticking to it

Thats wierd cause rF played a scrim that went the exact same way against LoC back in like Janruary.

The problem with this game is moments like that are way to rare

i remember a game between my clan "BS" and a french clan called -o-, was veil and they had a few HA HMG's, they killed our hive but at the same time we got 2 onos to kill their bass & CC.

about 30 mins of 2 onos and a gorge running around trying to kill their 4 HA was mad, we lost eventually but it was great just for the deathmatchness of it and randomness.
