Right, there was a Combine radio pack floating around a while back but I've had trouble getting hold of it. So I figure i'll do it myself. How would I copy the sound files out of HL2? Im not gonna make this public or anything so no worries about Valve getting angsty. Help is appreciated.

Just download GCFScape (use google to find it). It's a program that lets you open the .gcf files that Valve uses to store all the models, textures, sounds and the like for HL2. The .gcf files will be in your steamapps folder.

These guys say some cool stuff. "We are in an investation zone". Wonder what "We have not tagged viromes" means. What's a "viscerator"?

you'll have to change the audio properties once done. just use Sound Recorder and change the settings to the ones used in ns: 22khz, 16 bit, Mono
