most established NS players know about multibuilding, which basicly just means holding +use and wheeling the mouse around so that multiple structures get +used at the same time and they all build at the rate of one structures build time.
Would it be possible to write a script that just continuously wheels the player in circles while at the same time holding +use? You'd probably want to keep your normal build key for building nodes while watching a door, or pressing elevator keys. But this could be useful for multi chamber drops, or the occational turret farm.

No, considering you have to look at the object your building. Once you stop looking at it, you stop building, which means no dual-screen-hax for j00

+use
cl_yawspeed raised
+left
+right
waits
-use
cl_yawspeed 1000 (just a random number)
alias +go "+use; +left; wait;wait;wait;-left;wait;+right;wait;wait;wait;-right"
alias -go "-use"
Adjust yawspeed until it works between 2 objects on a 180 degree angle.
Edit; It can't be scripted unless you feel like repeatedly pounding the key.

if you look at an object you are building for a fraction of a second it has a short build time applied to it. it DOES NOT stop building the moment you look away, you can hold +use and wheel the mouse rapidly around and as long as you are hitting the structure you are trying to build occationally with your crosshair you will still build it at full speed. This can be used to build multiple structures at the same time, all at full speed. Don't tell me I'm wrong, because this has been tested and retested hundreds of times, and is still actively being used by many many players for decreased build times. I know what I am talking about.
@the hole: I would have figured something like that would apply without _special scripting. Not that it's a terrible thing anyways, since it's kind of an exploitive script, and I can use my pen/tablet to get the same result anyways

You can do this reather easily if you have 2 unbuilt structures nearby. Just wwiglle your mouse like hell and you get both built in same time. Eeasy!

yes, but it gets more difficult if you have 4-5 unbuilt stuctures near by...

| CODE |
alias +build "+use; cl_yawspeed 1440; +left" alias -build "-use; -left; cl_yawspeed 210" bind <key> +build |
Try that. cl_yawspeed 1440 will rotate you a complete circle 4 times per second; may need adjusting (cl_yawspeed is set in degrees per second). 210 is the default value, though there isn't actually much reason to revert to it other than for neatness.

Do you honestly think that this is an intended part of NS? That the NS devs wanted us to find out how to build many structures at the same time by moving our mouse around?
No. It's a bug... and you're exploiting it. Don't

Technically bhop is an engine snafu but NS competitive would've died (or never been born) long ago if it was outlawed

Ooh, just when I thought it couldn't get any better. At this rate I'll be able to script my fight sequences (ftw?)

I just tested building multiple structures with that method, and each structure built significantly slower than if I were building it alone. I was testing with sv_cheats 1, I should note, but it is doubtful that this would have had any effect (and if anyone wants to test without it, go ahead).

Even if the method actually worked, a script to perform it would be little more than a waste of keyboard space. It isn't difficult at all to wave the mouse between several structures.

I have just tested this as gorge. And it works... I build 2 MCs in the time of 1.

Hmm. Maybe because if I built them in different hives, I wouldn't be able to test this exploit? Thought about that? Genius.
