I just got this idea that sounds on paper really good concerning about cargo on ns_tanith.

How if you would put those all OC`s behind the boxes on ground level? You have 2 entrances to that room from the rine side of the map acidic and the long corridor(whats`s that name? wink-fix.gif ) How if you would put those oc`s behind the crates where marines dont see them or cant shoot them?

Often this would lead to marine trying to rush the hive and realizing too late that he`s gone. After few times the rines might be smart enough to put the pg on the upper level but still they would had to fight the aliens thus moving and eventually falling down to be shredded?

I really like this idea how about you guys and especially you Asal, due beeing the official NS forum pudgy.gif !

You realy need the ocs to be killing the marines as soon as they peep in. Hiding them will allow the rines to calmly stand there and shoot any aliens that come to trouble them. Meanwhile a sinlge marine can take the ocs while his teammates cover him.
Put the ocs in a traditional place and your fades lerks don't need to cross the whole of cargo to marines that are sitting there waiting and under no pressure at all.
Best thing to do is to let aliens lame cargo to their hearts content them rush chem transport and walk in the back way to fusion. This should be timed so that you get there after they put the hive down...but before it goes up for max damage and points. I have a horrible habit of saying cargo when i mean fusion. This results in my marines trying to shoot lerks and ocs and dying horribly when they could have walked into the hive with no resistance.

I do that for few other hives ^^

But one lerk can gas all the marines if they are up there wink-fix.gif Putting them down anyone going down with spore will die really fast...

problem is, many lerk lose his patient
and get greedy to bite the marine
so he died before he can gas off the marine :/
i always put like 3 oc in cargo
1 top,... 2 behind alittle far from rt
and 2 on each side of the entrance to fusion hive
lastly 1 oc in fusion hive
Cheese
one celerity lerk owns lmg and even sg marines in cargo if hes smart. just need to be smart a bit... biggrin-fix.gif

just doot take the same exits all the time. if you do that youre dead.

Just stick two ocs in the hallway next to pathway to waste, do this right off the bat whitle some skulks rush double (or guard you). Once you do this it will be easy to secure chemical and then just prevent them from welding in to sat com..GG

For cargo, behind the boxes is useless compared to LoS....and if the marines are in cargo, then hiding them behind the boxes is far from as effective as they could be.

Fusion isn't a hive that is easily JP-able, so OCs are of far less importance than the res you use on them. If you INSIST on using OCs, use them to seperate the two entrances, so two forces moving in at the same time cannot group up and fight as one. Then destroy them piecemeal.

Again though, I prefer OCs only as sentries to stop Ninjas with. A determined assault overcomes any OC placement, however genius.

I only sanction OC placement as deterrent, not as a powerhouse, it will never truly be such a thing.
