every time I get in the cc, the command interface is dark as hell

I tried this "NS-Gamma-Tool" but it didn't work
and I don't use 3rd party gamma tools

I also tried to change the gamma at my TFT but nothing changed
(as simple marine the menus are ok)
anyone can help ?

Check all of your gamma and brightness commands. It's definitely a brightness problem, because if you brighten the image, you can see the command interface. Try messing around with various settings, and comparing your configuration file to someone else's.

yeah ... I know
but which settings ?
I mean, I changed my monitor settings, I changed my driver settings and I changed the HL options settings but it doesn't work.
cuz every time, when I change it till I see the menu, all black stuff on the screen gets grey
the gamma/brightness/contrast settings seem to be ok, cuz I can play the game and nothing is dark
only this interface
the hud and crosshair and tooltips are ok

Try adding this to the config file:
| CODE |
gl_overbright 1 gl_texturemode "GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR" gl_spriteblend 1 gl_lightholes 1 gl_keeptjunctions 1 gl_picmip 0 gl_dither 0 gl_palette_tex 1 ati_npatch 0 ati_subdiv 0 lightgamma 0 brightness 9999999999999999999 gamma 3 |

thx, I tried this stuff
but it didn't work
here some aditional screenshots:

it seems that only this "overlay" interface graphics are dark
also, if I turn up the brightness or something it only gets "brighter-grey" but I saw a screenshot of the interface and I had blue buttons and the cursor in observer mode was blue too
