I am able to play HL1 via steam. I downloaded NS and installed it.
How do I run the game? I don't see it in my "play games" steam window, and I don't see an .exe file to start the game itself.
Noob Needs Nowledge Now!?

It should appear under the My Games list under the Play Games list.

That's wrong. It will appear under Third Party Games.
Make sure you installed it right. The folders should look like this:
...\Whatever\Steam\SteamApps\emailaddress\half-life\ns
Make sure there is only one ns folder. It shouldn't be like this:
...\Whatever\Steam\SteamApps\emailaddress\half-life\ns\ns

There is always the shortcut modification route, that is usually recommended for those that have cs 1.6 and not hl1 but it works on this occasion aswell... if the above methods don't work, ask again...
