well i´ve been playing ns for long time. I´ve never found any good rate config
then can anyone explain me how can i get good rates for my connection
512/128
(leet spanish connection)

hmm...
you'd prolly do good at something like
cl_rate 10,000
cl_cmdrate 55
cl_updaterate 60
cl_cmdbackup 1

Go with cl_updaterate 30 since that's the default setting that most servers use.
