Who dosen't have love for the large- rhinocerous like creature, but my question is how could one devour a marine? I know its simple you just go up to a marine and click on devour, but sometimes it works and sometimes it dosen't -well for me atleast, is there a proper way to devouring someone?

try to aim with the nose, slightly above the nose, soon u will get it
or get a crosshair to help u at NSA

He speaks the truth.
Aim with the tip of your horn (the devour horn is turned to the side, so you should actually aim just left of the tip) in the exact center of the screen (exactly where a marine weapon would shoot).
The best solution is to grab a devour crosshair.

Or you can just aim at the feet of the marine, in which case don't worry about using the tip of the horn to aim.

whao alright so either aim with the tip of the horn or aim at the feet, alright thanx for all your input.
I still haven't tried those 2 methods yet but, where could I get a devour crosshair?

Explanation at its simplest, stick your nose in their crouch. Or you could always just jump on their head and look straight down.

This doesn't work very well against crouching marines or jetpackers.

Crouch and aim at the feet. Just don't Devour if you suck at it. I see too many Onos die or leave Marines alive because they run around trying to devour LMGers, then Heavies turn the corner and shred them. It's generally quicker to just Gore everything in sight.

Shame on everyone who said to crouch.
Thats why onos go 1v1 vs an hmg and lose.
If a marine is fighting an onos that has to crouch to devour, he shouldn't lose.
Onos's are slow enough as it is, when they crouch its easy for a marine to make his escape, or just dodge around going full auto on him.

to true, to true....
only way it ever works for me, also, never actually touch the rine while you are trying to eat them, it never seems to work if you are.
