Recently I've been making a few AVI's here and there with Virtual Dub and the like. It's all very fun but I was wondering is there anyway to completely get rid of the HUD except for the kill registers at the top. Commands I've used already are:
net_graph 0
hud_say_text 0
cl_buildmessages 1
Thanks for any suggestions

I'm sure there's a basic Half-Life command for it, as back in the days when I played C-S, there were binds available that gave you a clean screenshot.
If no-one posts the command, go into the console and type "hud_". Then using the arrow keys, scroll down until you find the command that looks like it might do the job.

Unfortunately, it's not that easy in ns sherpa. To remove the whole hud, you need to replace the sprites with empty ones. But there are one or two ready-to-use packs in this forum. I don't have a link, but there should be something in the customization forum somewhere.

Ah, but those packs are deemed exploitative, and threads containing them were locked.

I wont even comment on the idiocy of deeming those packs exploitive. Jesus. What do we have consistency for?
What you basically need to do, is replace all your hud .spr files with empty .spr files. One way to do this is to simply create empty .txt files and then rename them say thisisthehudspriteiwanttoremove.spr.
