Steam friends appears to have been offline for a few months now, or was online sporadically...
xFire is a much better system than Steam Friends, and can be downloaded from here (Link to xFire website). Sign up to that, then add people who you have played with, and that don't mind giving out their xFire ID. For a start, you can add me, my xFire ID is Caliburnus. I tend to play more at the weekends now, but will be playing a whole lot more regular when I do the last upgrade to my system (Sucks having an SLi system there, with no real OS. Bloody XP64...)

Yes x fire is far better than steam firens sure you cant play chess or any thing but who cares its better trust us
friends is down like 90% of the time and since last update mine is totally screwed and deleted my list
