hey every1 i would appretiate sum help to do with installing models sprits ect ....

1stly i have tryed many downloads and they have all failed

i have been extracting them to where i was suppsoed to be ,

here is where i want the models "C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\i8leeds2@hotmail.com\half-life\ns"

you might wannt extracting manually if you're not, by dragging them to the specific directory.

to install models such as structures and weapons, install them to: C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\i8leeds2@hotmail.com\half-life\ns\models

to install player models such as marines, skuks, fades, heavies, etc install them to: C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\i8leeds2@hotmail.com\half-life\ns\models\player\
the sub-directories are for the following models:
alien1-skulk model
alien2-gorge model
alien3-lerk model
alien4-fade model
alien5-onos model
heavy-heavy armor model
soldier-marine model
gestate-egg model


to install sprites, install them to:
C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\i8leeds2@hotmail.com\half-life\ns\sprites

If you find a pack thats been bundled incorrectly, then I suggest you contact the author.

Most packs have been created to fit into the proper folder when they're uninstalled. Only really old packs have screwed up instructions, and if they're THAT old then they're probably not going to work too well with NS 3.0

Which means contacting the author anyway to see if they have updates.




Also, some passworded packs will need a password to extract properly, that could be your problem as well.
