BATTLE GORGES INCOMING. COMM, MEDS!

bilebomb nukes 10 res worth of meds the comm drops in a large pile in the corner. forces coms to move that mouse more, makes sence from an rp/storyline prospective, increase's bilebomb usefulness, and is generally cool.

I recall reading somewhere (maybe an I&S sticky) that dropped items, like health packs, are not going to be "used" or "destroyed" by aliens.

right, then a gorge with bilebomb would totally own any bunch of marines who are seiging cos its destroying all seige structures while at the same time depriving the marines of ammo and healthpacks.

If the commander just drops the 'packs straight on the marines, the bilebomb has to explode within a really tiny timeframe to stop the marine from being resupplied.
It would be pretty much luck-based unless the commander spams meds everywhere, and well, it's his own fault then, isn't it?

I like it smile-fix.gif plus the gorge is pretty dead if it runs close enough to bile supplies.

Instead of destroying the equipment if the aliens walk over it then they should get some of the effects. For example, if an alien walks over a health pack then they regain health and if they walk over a catpack then they move faster for a short period.

Med pack spam is easy as pie to counter.

Spore the Med spam.

Marine goes to get health. Goes up to 100 HP 1/2 a second later drops to 93 picks up another med pack 100 HP 1/2 a second later drops to 93... etc etc.

Meds get wasted real easy with Spore, marines essentially waste their own res if they do that instead of having an armoury in any kind of siege situation.
