well, some really good player does this thing in co. the onos come up from stairway and running at 150mph around the room kill everyone and run out with a heavy in the stomach. and i wonder what did they do. let me assume...

am i right? how does that guy manged to charge for 1 min?

Is there an extra upgrades plugin on this server? I know that one of the alien upgrades gives a player extra adrenaline replenishing. Other than that, they shouldn't be able to charge for more than about 10 seconds, and that time goes way down if they are using gore and devour.

Yeah, that's definitely a plugin. I've done that before on a server like that, charged for basically as long as I wanted to, unless I stomped a lot. Still, I don't know how people can manage to devour while charging. I know the Onos moves way too fast for me to aim a devour when I'm moving at 150 mph. But obviously other people are better at it than me.

well you can charge and devour in real games (without plugins). i used to keep pressing the forward button no matter what when i charge. but i found out that u can just let go of the damn button for half a second to aim and devour a heavy before running off to the hive to digest it.

also if the player is skilled at all he may have been wallstrafing which makes bloodlust cel charging onos absolutely insane.





just did a test, chargin wallstrafing celerity onos can go 950+ units

charge keeps active aslong as you have adrenaline. So you can stand still for almost the entire charge and still charge when moving, aslong as you got adrenaline.

I charged for minutes once.. Was standing near a few MCs lamed close to MS, and I had adrenaline.. Just charge, start running, devour, run back and stand by MCs to raise adren back. You never need to recharge when adren stays ok

In CO its prob. a plugin but in classic you can do this sort of thing by charging with adren and near some MC. Charge in, devour, charge out. Use any ramps/steps for speed boosts. Not so hard.

how exactly would one calculate the speed of which you are going?..

I believe that, while charging, if you switch weapons it auto-attacks (aka, switch to devour, you devour the first rine you touch)

If not... then I got a few hackers on my server 0o'

or just get a car to drive next to your pc while you oni charge and get the driver to tell you his speed as he catches upto the onos.
