I'm wondering on how you can make that visor on his helmet transparent and able to see his face. I'm asking how, because I would like to do the same with the Halo model. biggrin-fix.gif thank you!
Necrosis
Translucent texturing, its all part of Jed's Model Viewer these days. Download it and see.

I believe its something like texrendermode additive.

So in that case of the pic you posted, there's a greenish texture making up the visor, and that bmp is set to rendermode additive, making it translucent. Easy as pie.

See my Aliens model pack for an Aliens themed lerk with translucent wings.

It is aka Additive.

One problem there, no one knows what he looks like, so what would be behind the visor? tounge.gif biggrin-fix.gif

"Halo Master Chief Direct Rip"

I believe there's only white and green skins. I edit the skin to red.

Drfuzzy
Its easy to rip halo models, but alas, not the maps, so the models are virtually useless w/o a new skin.
