I know this shouldnt be in here but, im not sure where else to put it.Well as i was really getting into NS again and i decided to install my CS and get steam i encountered a little problem. I guess this is really my own fault because these were my friends cd keys that loved playing cs(i had no prior knowledge that they had registered on steam.) but , as i was registering my cd key for steam i arrived upon the Duplicate CD Key error window, and since i had another cd key at hand just incase i tried that but sadly the same thing occured and i was stuck withought a cd key to register with my account. *sigh* any suggestions? anything will be appreciated.

PS. im not going to purchase HL, HL2, or CS for the cd key.( I feel like )

You can send valve your original jewel case, with cd key attached to the back.

They will then send you a spare key.

Just in case u should not own a legal copy of any HL related games: Dont expect any help in cracking/circumvating steam.
