Ummm ppl keep telling me to set up lan game and turn cheats on to practice. What does sv_cheats do? I dont really notice much change. Either that or im oblivious

Cheats allows you to type in commands to "unlock" or get special things, such as "givepoints" will give you or your team res.

You turn on cheats by typing sv_cheats 1 in the console. The only cheat you really need is givepoints 1 (or something like that; can't remember if there is an underscore or not). This will give you a lot of resources every time you enter it.

There's also one for fastbuild, but I can't remember it right now... I'm sure there's more, but those are the only ones really useful to comm training.

I believe bigdig is for autobuilding (fast building is automatic with sv_cheats) givepoints is for res, you can also do "give team_command" or such but the command chair wont have a team so therefore it is useless... also things as "give weapon_weaponname" commands are available, those are the basic ones...

I'm pretty sure some of these might not work anymore.
