Where should I put this file, so the compiler will look for it?
Are there any commands that I should give batch compiler so it would include lights.rad?
NEO_Phyte
its easier to just include an info_texlights in your map

All you need to do is add the lights.rad file where your .map file is located and BC will automatically use it. If its named differently than lights.rad (maybe mymapslights.rad), goto the RAD section on BC and find "Lights file" and add the name of your rad file here. If it is located in the same directory as your map file then all you will need is the name of your rad file, and not its path.

If you're not using BC, you can use this switch:

-lights "C:\whereEver\youHave\yourlights.rad"
For RAD, of course. RAD will automatically use the one called "lights.rad" in the same folder as your .map file, so if you don't feel like using this switch just put it in the folder and name it lights.rad and it should be included.

Useful information but not for here as he has already said he is using BC and other than that you've just repeated what i've said.

You know, someone might have a problem with the same thing and they might not be using BC. Sometimes it helps.

Besides, no need to be all "stop repeating what I said - STOP TRYING TO HELP I WAS HERE FIRST". We're all just trying to help and I'm sure he accepts any help he can get, even if it's redundant or if he's not going to use it.

I wasn't trying to be like that, and like i said it is useful information, I was just saying that we had cleared this problem up.
