I have been playing Ns for about a year and i have a question. If u stack oc's on top of each other does the bottom 1 fire? Someone told me it didnt but i want to make sure.

To my knowledge, if you place them directly ontop of eachother the bottom doesnt fire, but if you offset the top one behind, they both fire.
Not sure anymore though...

The bottom one always fires. The problem is that if they're one on top the other the top OC's model will obstruct the bottom's projectiles. If the OCs are sunk into each other the problem is removed, to my knowledge.

What he said. I', 98% sure, 'sinking' the ocs fixes the problem.

Just play it safe: make walls of ocs, not funky shapes or stacks.

PLAYING IT SAFE DIDN'T GET US THE MONA LISA. PLAYING IT SAFE DIDN'T BUILD THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING.

PLAYING IT SAFE WOULDN'T OF GOT YOU BUSH!
Remember 1 dc for every oc and for a decent Wall of Lame (WoL), you are paying 100 res, that's enough to drop two hives or fade twice.

Make hats instead of walls.

I usually build an OC, a DC behind that OC, and then an OC on the DC I dropped. It works wonders.
