Welcome

In Classic NS (ns_maps) it is quite important not to die as fade especially if u are in a losing game, you will loose a lot of resources and may take a while regaining these back again (depending on how many resource towers u have) Fade's main purpose is base harrasment and hit&run's. Using the fade's Blink ability allows it to fly around? at incredible speed , a few gentle taps while this is armed will allow u to get close to ur target and get away from it very quickly

in Combat NS (co_maps) Even if you die u still have the experience points to re-fade. Use ur imagination in using the fade, u could harras players or attack the base- die attack the base - onos - attack the base. Just play aroudn with different roles. But master the blink movement.

Yes, blink is the fade's best ability. Master it as soon as possible. Also, when 2 hives are up, know when to use metabolize. While it's of less importance than blink, it's still good to have, especially if no one puts up any dc's. Also, in Classic NS, all the hopes of the tiny skulks and gorges ride with you when you early fade, especially when the marines are pushing toward something. If you die, you will be harassed because you faded instead of putting up a hive. confused-fix.gif

well first off m'kay, dont do drug m'kay. because m'kay they're bad for your health m'kay. dont use alien as a noob m'kay. marines are easier m'kay. and welcome m'kay.

I would suggest you try combat first, to get used to all the different alien life forms. Dying as a fade when your team needs every point of resouce on a NS map can cripple your team. (which will most likely cause a whole bunch of people screaming at you, calling you a stupid nub, etc)

There are many guides out there for learning how to use each of the alien lifeforms, but you'll probably learn more by playing around with each of the Fade's abilities than by reading off what others are telling you on a website.

First I suggest you use correct grammer.. try to say "your" or "you're" instead of "ur" or "you" instead of "u". Use that tiny pinky to capatilize the I's in your post. Just makes it a hell of a lot easier to read, and only takes five seconds more to do on an extreamly long post.

why the would grammar matter? perhaps you should go back to phonics 3 before you go about complaining over the internet that they should make reading easier JUST for you. im pretty sure you are the only one having troubles reading.

when you are fade, u must master switching blink and swipe back and forth. use blink to get to the marine and swipe to kill him. remember, try your best to keep movin and avoid walking as fade. also, blink at a angle of about 45 degrees maximum distance. always save adrenaline when fighting just in case you have to blink away, and avoid holding down ur fire key while blinking. also, watch your health. at about 30-50 armor you might want to get out of there

There's a great guide to fading on NSLearn, check it out. It gives you the basics. After that it's just getting used to the controls and experience.

Actually, there are many ways a low skilled player can help the team a full lot!

Dropping resources,
upgrade chambers ( ask BEFORE dropping ),
lerk spores (weapon 2),
parasite the full team,
only stomp with onos (Weapon 3, If you got skulks along)

In marines, build,
use grenade launcher (If you can),
go HA in co (at least you distract the aliens),
take a welder and repair your teamates ( NEWS, this just in , you can actually repair PEOPLE, sheesh, nubs never know that.)

Do not go fade in classic, unless you got too much res, or you think youre good enough.

You should also know how many hits/bullets it takes to kill every alien/marine
(Can someone put a link with damage tables?)

Good playing!
