Simple idea:

Say a commander scans a corridor and sees a bunch of chambers. They appear on the map but as soon as the scan stops they disappear. A type of 'fog of war' should be implemented for the mini-map so after the scan finishes they appear in gray until the area is checked again.

Would help the commander keep on top of where things are and safe routes.

Sounds like a good idea. I don't think it would be too hard to code. 1 question, would the marines see the grayed out structures on their map?

*thumbs up*

I like this idea, but i think only the comm should see them still, meaning the basic rine overview wouldn't change for what it is currently.

WOW this is exactly the idea i had a few days ago but forgot. except it was for aliens not marines. biggrin-fix.gif

No, I think that all players should have this fog of war. After all, players can see whatever the comm sees on the minimap.

Other than that, thumbs up.
