Full Version: I Got A Question
yeah, ill set about 3-4 fav server in ns, and when im done playing, ill exit the game, through the menu. But when I go back into it, my fav's are all gone.... and its making me mad because I cant keep my fav's saved....
I get it to, it's a steam problem.
Yeah. Steam has a bug where it deletes the favourites list.
Best thing to do it use HLSW or All Seeing Eye to store your favourite servers on.

Well i tried this before: you save your favorites and you exit the regular way. when i quit through the console then they got deleted. so try that and tell me.it might not work though.
hey ever one ia m new to this game but i have played on steam for many years games like CS and DOD but my steam is messing up when i go in ne game includling this one my sound will work for about 5 to 10 min then just stop working i get out of the game then get back in my sound works again but after 5 to 10 mins its gone again WUT DO I DO?

My friend recently had a similar sound problem... it was due to a virus. Yours may be another problem but its always worth a try.
He used McAfee Stinger, a backdoor virus scan program that is typically not targeted by viruses.

With regards to the Favourites list mucking up, if you're in Europe it doesn't matter coz theres so few servers it takes like five seconds to refresh the list

Everything is working on my steam perfectly. Maybe the problem is between the monitor and the chair
Or your comp is crappy or something?
Right click on the Steam icon, go in "Servers", then go in "Favorites" and add your favorite servers there, then exit Steam and come back.
It's a new steam bug, will probably be fixed in the next update. Go to servers -> Game filter, select all, refresh, select ns. You can also select all in the game filter and write ns or co in the map filter (then you dont have to do it every time you reboot). Problem solved.
I get this alot too, and then when I manage to add a favorite, I can't get rid of it

yeah, I tried exiting with the exit button instead of through console... but it still didnt work. The only way I found it to work is if you right click on steam icon when out of game, go to servers> search for servers> select favs> then it works.. but not in game.
Anyway, I hope its fixed soon.
yer i have it also, annoying bug , also everytime i load it up from new it starts with cs:source servers .
