I know this has been mentioned before, but nothing seems to have been done about it, and it may not be an NS bug either but still...
If your name is -:m33p:- in game and you type somthing..
it appears in public say, all in white.. but the location is screwed, it ends up as
" -:m33p (Location on map):- What you said here "
instead of what it should be....
" -:m33p:- (Location on map) What you said here "

I used to go by the name ::esuna:: and i've had this problem. It's 100% definately because of the :'s in the name. Not only does this not display properly on your own screen, but in global chat even the enemy get the message of where your location is, or at least used to.

Isn't this a steam issue? I've seen it happen in DOD and CS too.

As I recall, it puts the location name immediately before the first colon. This means it should show this:
- (Location on map):m33p:-: What you said hereEdit: Just remembered,

That's my in-game name, and to other people, it shows up as white text (same format as if the first character were a colon), but it's fine on my own screen...

I'm doubtful whether this is a global HL issue as the chat for NS has been replaced with their own system as opposed to HL's standard chat, iirc.
