Hi everyone.
I haven't been able to play NS now for about a year because I have been busy. I want to play again, but now when I can't use all-seeing eye to get games. I guess that all the WON servers are not in use anymore, or something? What does this mean.
The real question is: what do I have to do to play NS now??
BTW, I think that this could deserve a clear tutorial on this site somewhere.

Well, everything is going to Steam now. Just DL steam from steampowered.com and download the latest NS to install to it.

Firstly Get steam
www.steampowered.com
Then read the information on the download section of the main site

So what is Steam? Does this affect what NS was when I played it? Is the game any different now?
Also, what is the latest version?

Did you try looking on the downloads page, which should clearly have the most recent NS installer?

Steam is the name of a virus, which will torment you for hours on end. Update daily and require DSL to maintain. Not only that it is full of bugs and will delete your favourites list at random times

so by all means go get it

You can still use All seeing eye once you have steam installed. It then shows games in steam as it did with won..

Steam is the bane of all that is hl, yet, since most ppl use it, we do now. steampowered.com must have a dl and install readme, check it out. Just, when you install ns, you have to run the hazard course in hl for a few secs, so the game can find the req'd files.

Ok, just to be the odd guy, I find steam awesome, so far I never had any problems with it that can't be fixed in under 20 seconds (at the exception of friend list, but that's not on my side).
Steam is the server browser used by valve for all it's game.

The only thing steam has over Valve is the ability to play networked "Hearts" over friends. :|
Still, I would never go back.
