Here ya go guys! This one took a while, with lots of prototypes that were thrown in the garbage.
This upgrade sprite is a compliment to alien hud found in my
Sprite Pack Volume 1.

you know im impressed but not surprised, i expect this much from you now

ooh and SoF looks sweet ingame, the veins aren't super clear but still very noticable
this brings up one problem however, once the non-silhouette version is released, how the hell am i gonna decide which one to use
maybe have them both and alternate every game

He did say in comparison to his redemption sprite. So he might have been using that as a reference to how much he loves one. But I love them all

I just played a whole bout of kharaans for a few hours just to see these babies in action. They are absolutely gorgeous i just had to rant about them again- they look very very crisp in game, the border is circular as circular gets, i'm drooling every time i play...i really really can't wait for the next set!

no no its just emphasizing (like deathknight said) that the redemption sprite is briliance at its prime...
to explain how much i love his sprites - i dont use any custom models or anything(except the ip with the antena)... only his sprites (all the sprites shaz has created im using)

I have an idea for this upgrade icones.
Instead of 3 icons for every lvl 3 of any upgrade, you can have only 1 upgrade icon for every lvl 3 upgrade, but you get a number which lvl it is near the icon.
A simple of the example:

Umm.. most competetive players actually use alot of custom sprites.
I know a few [t] and BM guys who uses Shazz's sprite pack.

very nice sprites & they complement the sprite pack very well.
I think you should make a total replacement pack with these, your alien hud & alien crosshairs so its easier for people to find & gets some more pimpage.
Also it might be an idea to keep the alien & marine HUDs seperate (I know the marine one is only mainhud.spr, marinenode.spr & upgrades.spr however people unused to editing HL may think its all or nothing).
Also the JP energy sprite you released in this thread

All in all some tremendous sprites. keep up the good work.
As far as consistency goes the only sprites it locks are digesting.spr & muzzleflash[1-3].spr afaik so you can change anything else & still play on servers with mp_consistency 1.
