why is the text saying "use with extreme caution" going through the buttons on the bottom?

love the readout (except for the things chrono mentioned), but i don't like the explosive. get rid of the text (just MHO) on it, and scratch it up a little to make it match the timer.

Lower text is just fine. It's just the angle it's at that makes it look like it's going through the buttons.

Very nice BTW so pretty, i want see skulky go boom by C4!

it seems like there is no place for the buttons to go once pressed in maybe make a slight black outline around each button so it seems like they have a socket for the buttons to go down into

Buttons don't actually get "pressed down" in the animations of any of the C4 i've seen..

usualy on any control pannel the face plate isnt solid it has holes where the buttons are thats what i mean

you see a slight black outline

i can easily see holes there, put a little effort into it... use your imagination. takes like 5 seconds to make indentations...

your model/skin makes it look as if the c4 is in some strange metal container or something. there's some real c4 which is molded into any shape but usually wrapped in some kind of material to keep it's shape (usually rectangular... box shape) and allow the explosion to take place.

your lighting on the skin is making no sense what-so-ever. pick one direction that the light is coming from and follow through with it. for instance the screws... 3 of them have the light coming from the upper left, the 4th has it coming from upper right???

i dont have the slightest idea what's goin on with the buttons also, they have like random highlights marks going along the angled sides. you did the indent for the display correctly... but i dunno what you were doing when you skinned the angles ont he buttons.

Who says the C4 isn't wrapped in plastic then put in a box?

why would u place it in a box... that would just play with the way it explodes, it could do anything.

well then why not even bother with the holes for the buttons

i dont really like the overall design, imho should be more cylindrical or rectangular. not a rather thin box

also id think that the rest of the skin would look better without the camo.

They needn't be metal buttons, they could be plastic ones (the erratic lightsource on the sides of each button could suggest it was so). Then they wouldn't need to be depressed into any hole, they'd just buckle in from the centre of the button when pressed
I really like it - it gives a whole plastique feel to it.
And as we all know, why the hell would you want a big cumbersome annoyingly rectangular boxy c4 explosive x many years in the future, when you can have this trendy, slim, portable, easy-to-plant plastique made from the latest in nano-technology!
(someone with an imagination work out how c4 fits into all that)

Some things i'd like to add..

Its not thin, and i don't get whats wrong with the lightsource on the buttons, so they have some random highlights, yes, but whats wrong with the lightsource ?
What you said about the screw was caused by rotating it without thinking about it much..

my dad used to deliver boxes of C4 to blow up oil rigs that were beaten down by the ocean to reduce ship sinkage. anyway he said that they were white rectangular blocks and were hard (like chalk) and you could make them explode by throwing one in a fire and throwing somehting on top of it.

the random highlights lack sense and look like ****, and i couldn't tell if it was goin all the way around like that before so i assumed it did seeing as u messed up on the screw.

redo the buttons... trust me, dont even try to defend that part it'd just make me think bad thoughts.
