Full Version: What Is The Format For Target_mp3audio ?

I read through the forum and searched Google, but I can't seem to find the formatting needed to get target_mp3audio working correctly.

ambient_generic has a "..." button that fills in the sound file name, but target_mp3audio's text box doesn't seem to accept the same format (ambience/sound.mp3).

ambient_generic has a "targetname" field (Name), is this required to get the MP3 to play? Usually if an entity has a target name then some trigger needs to target it to activate it, is it the same for the "targetname" in target_mp3audio?

If it's not too much trouble, can someone attach a small test rmf/map with a working target_mp3audio so I can see how this is done?

Thank you!

Ugh just figured it out hehe. Anyways...

ambient_generic = ambience/sound.wav
target_mp3audio = sound/ambience/sound.mp3

The difference being that you need to include the "sound/" part into the target_mp3audio soundname.

Hope this helps anyone else that is having this problem (or was it just me? hehe)...
