When sieging hives, how many sieges would you coms use. I see these strat threads with 3, but can 4 be more effective?
When using turrets, how much is too much?
When placing an outpost near a hive, is it smart to make 2 phase gates on that outpost just in case they try to take one pg down?
Does 3 ips work exactly as 4?

3 Sieges.
0 Turrets.
1 Phase Gate.
2 IPs OR 10+, unless you're playing a 24 person pub, then 3 IPs could be called for.

when i got planty of time and i have full energy,
2-3 sieges.
more kills more res
or else, 4 sieges, finish the hive with 1 obs energy and seeing the hive
but SG RUSH is always considered first
2 pg.... hm.. fine to me

I like to make 2 pgs if i can afford it. if you have plenty of res go for it its 100% hive safe
I have started using 4 sieges because i like to scan a lot. Meaning i dont have some much obs energy usually, unless ive been able to see the sieges are going up soon.

What about 2 tfs when your sieging a hive? Place the upgraded one int the back and place the fakers in the front?

good idea!
it's effective,cheap and can panic the skulk:D
but i think place some turret like 2,3 to defend and alert behind alien

nah, just a waste of res.
use the res to give out med packs for rines so they can defned the one tf.

Watch out for those packs of adrenaline healspraying gorges

The marines had to fork out for 5 sieges to start doing some damage. But of course the rest of the team is constantly attacking and taking down the sieges....result marines spend tons of res and 5 mins and get nowhere.
