I downloaded and installed fine ( ithink)

I connect to a server and as my console raises when im just about to enter my HL crashes giving me an FMOD.dll error..

happends everysingle time this or I just crash to the desktop.  

I have AMD 1.2 Geforce 2 i run in 800x600 in OpenGL
i have dod, cs, existence they all run fine usually.

anyone help?

You should have seen my other post on this, since you replied there, but just in case you didn't, you most likely need to install the latest version of directx (available at http://www.microsoft.com/directx ).
