There's a tutorial out there somewhere to get QuArK running in Linux.

There's also native ports of GtkRadiant for Linux, although the Linux version doesn't support HL...

If they released the source to the HL Radiant dlls so they could be used in Linux that would pwn...

But yea, Quark works. I've done it, I just don't like quark all that much so I map in Windoze.

Really? I did have it right now, and the program STARTS fine. I open the program, configure all the tools and FDGs and such. But when it comes time to open or create a map, I get the error "ChoosePicelFormal failed". Upon getting that error, the program still runs, but the menu to the left disapears, as well as the top menu. I can see brushes and entities in the 3 grid windows but cannot manipulate any of them, and the camera window disapears as well. So I can get the program to run and install fine, but when it comes time for a map to enter the picture....nothing. Cant get it to like me.

well, there is the qeradiant source so you could probably compile it on linux if you have the right librarys and includes.
