I'm new at this so bear w/ me...

I run the map and all the hlrad, hlvis, etc in the compile process window are working correctly i think...then when it tries to run HL.exe...I get a Fatal Error window saying "Could Not Find Filesystem dll to Load". Is it because I'm missing a dll? I can play HL fine.

Then, when I run on expert mode w/ all the Run commands typed in, a compile process window pops up like I expected, but its blank.

Help!

If you have Steam you launch Half-Life with Steam.exe, not HL.exe.

Ok.....steam runs and the steam main window pops up and the map doesn't run, its simply the steam window.

Your Game Executable should be C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe
Your map should go in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\blahblah@comcast.net\half-life\ns\maps

Already done. Still only steam...no running of map. Theres still the problem of running it in expert mode where the compile process window is blank.

Wait a sec...those boxes..Ii have to check those don't I? There we go...it runs!
