I usually get around 80 fps, prior to last week. All of a sudden, every second or so there is a terrible fps drop. I go from having 80fps perfect to a drop to about 2 fps... its been fine until about last week, not sure if its related to rates or anything. I have an amd 1800+ and a geforce4 mx 440, 512 ram.. its been fine but its been busted.. its impossible to play now.. fps used to be fine!!! help?

EDIT: Also, I've tried all the tweaks in the world listed on the forums, updating drivers... everything...

make sure u have Antialasing and Anisotropic turned off , doesnt make NS look that much better and it will cause ur FPS to drop alot by looking at diffrent objects (water is rather bad for a Gforce4MX)

If that doesnt work and you have tried the fix's on the forums then it may have something to do with ur PC, does the same happen on other games?
