I'm having a lag problem with the new version......... I NEED HELP.......... I'v played NS before and had no lag problems.............. but with the new update im having MASSIVE PING AND LAG............ normaly i have a ping of 40-60....... right now im haveing a ping of 400-900....i dont know what to do i cant play it untill its fixxed......... ................please help.........I'd realy like to get back to the .......... .....................

I have something of a similar problem, I used to have ping of 40-60 but now I'm stuck at 100-150, and that's on a good day. I've tried changing my rates but nothing seems to bring it down.

edit to be more specific, I have a good computer and a good connection (broadband cable), the steam connection is set to the highest it can go i have cmd update and rate @ 105 101 25000 respectively, and i used to get 40-60 ping, 20-40 sometimes. Now I can't seem to get it below 99. I do use a router but I'd more suspect that that would inhibit my connection completely rather than choke it. I noticed I get two errors spammed while playing sometimes those being "overflow 500 temp ents" and "sentence or pitch shift ignored > 16 playing!"
