hey guys. i have been playing NS since 1.0. yet this has always bugged me.

ok, when you set a phase gate up, you see these little sparks rise up from it. usually they are rising up. however sometimes, they sway in different directions. sometimes completely to the right or completely to the left. sometimes they just split up into every direction, swaying wildly. one time i think i actually saw it go into the ground. anyone know what im talking about?

Yeah it's a known bug, but it seems that no one knows what causes it.

That's because those sparks don't fly 'in the air' but are actually nanite streams and as you know, those thing flow -everywhere- and in every direction.
