Hi, I did a search on the forums but with no results so I figured it was not found yet. Its really not a "high" Priority bug but can be looked at eventually. I was played the other day as skulk and two of my upgrades were Xeno and Redemption. I ran in the left vent by the hive on co_faceoff and tehre was a guy in there w/ a lmg. I hit the xeno button as i ran in and bit him once. he shot me down to about 10hp and i redeamed as skulk. Next thing i knew i was at the hive and my xeno had not gone off. i figured no big deal i'll go again, however this time xeno woulnd not work. It would play the alien impulse but it would not make me xeno. after I had died by gunfire and resumed as a new life, my xeno was back up and working. As i said, its not a high priority but it is still a bug. Kind of hard to recreate w/o a server you could test it on with cheats on. Thanks

I believe xeno went off. But, you were pulled back to the hive at the precise second of the explosion. Causing the same effect as xeno'ing and leaping at the precise moment of the explosion. These are hard to reproduce bugs but they are reproducable. They can be both good and bad.

Although this is what may have happened, a similar thing happened to me. I xenoed and then leap into a group. I lost the equivilant energy. After waiting several seconds and not exploding i was killed by a shotgunner. Next round it was working again

We should probably document this edge case.
