Okay, help please. On the bone plate on top of the head (There's a circle on it) , what are the two small things sticking out? I can't figure out what to do with them

.
Never mind, I figured it out. They fold to make the side of the plate.

ZycaR what version of 3ds max are you using? And could you make howto do papercraft tutorial so we all can do if we want to?

EDIT: And could you make howto do papercraft tutorial for dummies, so I could understand it too..

Now, now, be nice.

Speaking of being nice, I haven't started on the gorge yet... instead I decided to print out a second onos (on lighter paper weight this time, 160 gsm, so the score lines will look thinner) and start work on it.
So...for all those hopelessly lost and desiring an onos all the same...
http://www.geocities.com/julien_rp/instructions.htmlIf you want to look at it offline, the download (~500 kb) is at:
http://www.geocities.com/julien_rp/onos_instructions.zipIt's just the first page - the head - so far. Working on horns, then I'll go on to the rest of the body and rescue peeps like Condizzle. Hang in there... or figure it out yourself, it's not -that- hard and you can join in on the pain and correct me if I get it wrong.

Im loving these

, im gonna have to wait 4 hours before i get off work to have a better look and try then out :'(. No fair..
Since i dont think their is any or much change in this can we have a Cute Gorge?
Should only take a texture change... or maybe not.
Marine sides is looking a bit low, any chance of a turret. Should be a simple 1 to make compared

hm what do you mean with "real size" ?? Do you mean a 1:1 scale model of an armory?
Well if this is real I gonna build one with some boxes and then use it as a table for my room/living room
Condizzle
Oct 16 2004, 12:47 PM
Speaking of real size, I had an idea.
You make a life-size comm chair that opens and closes and you put your computer in it

. And you could somehow rig it to shake when the comm console is under attack (and you're in it)

.

ah.. sorry its 25%transparent "Z" logo .. its forgoted layer im photoshop .. ops..
Now I was repaired it ..
.. some little tips for aramory building ..
> You can build armory with or withouth parts No 6.
- then you got armory / adv.armory
> You can build armory withouth parts No 3 and No 5 and of course No 6.
- then you got unbuilded armory
reply: about real size CommanderConsole .. can be wery helpful PC builded in CC for profesional coms:
- with chair inside,
- and can be closed (nobody disturb, dark small room - ideal for concentrate)
- customized keyboard for commander menu and groups
- tought screen monitor for WP
.. can be very cool ..
reply: small parts
heh I hope you forgive me, but I build only fully detailed models ..
you can add them there or not, but I want models like are in game not simplified (not very ..
must do some little changes but it's only removing backfaces
or little moving some points, else model can be unbuildable from paper - conjunction, intersection some parts etc..)

Well I put together all of the little cargo boxes, they were fun, so I though I'd try the medpack, managed to make it look half decent, but I screwed it up a little.
So then I saw the armory and I'm like "omg I have to make this!", god 3 hours and 5 copies later I'm ready to scream!
Heh these things look fun but I just don't have the time or the skill to make the harder ones, you people who made the lerk and onos are not humans!
Anyway I would love some more of the simpler ones if it's possible, and keep up the good work.

mmm I managed to make the IP, again I messed up and I folded parts of the bottom in and glued them before I realized they should not be folded that way, and now it has 4 small but slightly noticeable white marks at the bottom.
Still I'm happy with it, and feeling kind of cocky, anyone want to make a res tower?
or that cool plant on bio-dome?

Woohoo! Entire body together! I just need to connect the head. Where the head meets the body, there's a triangular empty shape made. Since there are two identical pieces left, it has to be one of them, but I can't figure out how they fit on! ARGH!
