I connect to the server, everything seems fine, I run around for a bit and then I get this message:

Host_Error: CL_ParseServerMessage: Illegible server message - svc_b

I've uninstalled NS, then steam, then reinstalled steam, did the training mission, installed NS, got the error, tried the alias fix, still get the error....

Im pretty sure that your problem is due to firmware of your router?

Do you happen to have a linksys router? perhaps a befsr and you updated the firmware? you will want to revert back to an older version of the firmware.... It seems linksys quality insurance isnt what it used to be, ever firmware release seems to add problems...
