so many unanswered questions, i had to find out the hard way.

If you're interested I'd be more than happy to write some guides and/or articles for you.

Also, a good place to look would be the "Links to Guides and FAQ's" thread in the webbed section, it contains a huge amount of useful material, although a lot of it is ns2.01 related.

Also, see my Newbies Guide to Mine Placement it has loads of screenshotted examples covering every plausible/effective use of mines that I know, and several that (at the time of writing) I didn't.

If you'd like me to write some guides for you, email me at Ghost@wireplay.co.uk

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this what #nslearn is doing?
SpaceJesus
I think he means in the form of a website or similar.

Also, to save you some work I've sifted through the stickied links thread, and this is a list of what I deem to be the most useful and/or least outdated guides.

There is nothing wrong with another community help site and irc channel. The more the less newbish this community will become. If this person can do what he says then its all good. Do not say anything that would make him stop.
Jane
I'm all for helping new players, but wouldn't you be more effective if you helped out an already functioning group?

Check out #NSGuides or #NSLearn they both help players like this already.
Sarisel
This one is on a european-dominated irc server.

I whole heartedly agree. Let the guy do what he wants... just because NSHelpSite A exists doesn't mean that someone will find it before NSHelpSite B.
Firewater
He is more than welcome to start his own program, and I encourage it.

Anything that actually helps to get newer players to understand the game/improve on their abilities is ok by me.

We have staff, but its not that large, and since we are only located on gamesurge, it couldn't hurt to have another group on the european IRC servers.
Jane
I didn't know it was euro. Great idea, and I can see if some of our euro guides could help you.
Sinatra

There have been many great articles written, you should PM FireWater about becoming #nslearn.euro or something, why write the same information out twice?
Firewater
I respect that they are forming their own program. Nslearn isn't perfect, with possibly two different perspective on showing people things, it will just make us better instructors.
Sarisel
Joint programs will mean less effort overall, less cost overall, and less time spent overall. Making it #nslearn.europe or something along those lines would be a good idea. There is already a website for NSlearn, so unless there are any personal issues with it, alliances work better than individual efforts when it comes to this type of teaching.
